Important notice
These mailing labels have been kept as up-to-date as possible in the period between the last update mailing in August 2010 until April 2011. However, the public library labels do not yet reflect the changes that are currently underway in local government. We are unable to update this part of the labels until the dust has settled on the closures and mergers in public libraries. As soon as we are able to collect this data, we will inform our customers and issue the definitive label set. In the meantime, many of the labels for the public library sector will still be valid, however, some may no longer exist.
Make sure your message reaches its target market quickly and efficiently by using our comprehensive list sourced from CILIP's authoritative directory: Libraries and Information Services in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland
You can either order the data electronically for third party mailings or as self-adhesive labels.
The directory provides a comprehensive list of key personnel in libraries in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. If you want to send advertising material for a specific service, or introduce an organization to the library service, send to the Chief Librarian or, if you are offering a publication for sale, send your mailing piece to the Acquisitions Librarian.
Unless specified, address data consist of either the named Chief Librarian (where this has been provided) or the Acquisitions Librarian (title only). Please note that some organizations ask us not to name staff members as the posts change fairly frequently. Also, the individual in post may specifically request that they receive no mailings to them by name. We, of course, respect their wishes and in these instances the database drops in the title 'The Librarian' automatically. The information is constantly updated so the totals quoted below may vary slightly.
